Rapid Prototyping

A functional prototype can provide design validation in actual operating conditions with firm certainty.

Nexus Pacific can provide prototypes quickly to reduce your product's time-to-market pace - without compromising the important elements of design, functionality and affordability. Accelerate your product development with our Rapid Prototyping capabilities and turn your new designs into realities.

INVESTMENT CASTING
By using CAD/CAM systems and in-house rapid prototyping technologies, Nexus Pacific can produce investment castings directly from your solid model CAD files. We are able to rapid prototype castings that are fully representative of the production run parts - thereby eliminating the need for hard tools. Functional prototypes for most designs can be shipped in just one to three weeks.

FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPE
Our Rapid Prototyping technology can quickly provides metal prototypes for early design validation. We can provide aluminum alloy, carbon steels, low alloy steels and stainless steels, amongst other materials, for your metal prototypes.

REDUCED RISK
Rapid Prototyping helps resolve design issues before any investments in finalizing product designs or hard tooling are solidified. By providing you with functional prototypes, Nexus Pacific can effectively help you minimize scheduling delays, reduce development costs and increase the confidence of first production runs.

VERSATILE
Our Rapid Prototyping system is capable of producing parts of high complexity. In most cases, it can achieve a resolution accuracy of +/- .005" and 125 micro inch finish or better for the critical areas.

TIME-TO-MARKET
Reduce your time-to-market with our Rapid Prototype parts - rather than waiting 8 to 12 weeks for non-functional samples from conventional tooling methods. Nexus Pacific's RP technology can quickly deliver working prototypes, thereby enabling you to conduct the qualification testing and tooling design in parallel.
