WORKING WITH NEXUS PACIFIC

How do I get started?

Email, Fax or MAIL us your drawings. We can accept electronic files such as DXF, DWG, and IGS as well as hard copy blueprints. 3D files are preferred with tolerances specified for quicker response. Other important information such as order quantity, annual usage, and all applicable specifications is needed for accurate evaluation. Based on your request, Nexus Pacific will provide a quotation for your project. The length of the quote process is dependent on the complexity of the components or assemblies.


What types of manufacturing processes can you provide?

Our capabilities include Rapid Prototyping by casting, Investment Casting, Die Casting, CNC Machining, Metal Injection Molding, Stamping, Precision Forging, Extrusion, and Fineblanking. We also offer various secondary operations such as heat treatment, plating, anodizing, e-coat, painting, polishing, ball burnishing, and assembly, amongst others.

Upon request, Nexus Pacific can provide inventory management services in the U.S. or at the source. Just-in-time solutions are also available, if needed.


Will my proprietary designs and information remain confidential?

Yes. Nexus Pacific honors the non-disclosure agreements presented by our customers. All sensitive and proprietary information is maintained between Nexus Pacific and our overseas subsidiary.

What is the best way to submit a request for quote?

You can either complete our PDF request form and Fax it to us, or submit an RFQ online.


How quickly can I receive a quote?

Our quote process typically takes 3 to 5 business days, depending on the complexity of the project.


How can I check the status of an order?

Contact our Customer Service department for the most up-to-date status of your order.


Do you ship door-to-door?

Yes. All orders are shipped to your specified destination, FOB California.


What are my payment options?

Nexus Pacific accepts company checks, EDI or wire transfers.

FREIGHT & SHIPPING

What freight options do you offer?

Nexus Pacific’s prices include international ocean freight into the U.S. The lead-time is based on ocean freight. Airfreight of the international shipments can be arranged, based on customer’s requests.


How are freight & delivery charges determined?

Since all orders are FOB California, customers only incur the applicable shipping charges, per their specified freight carrier and shipping method inside the continental US.


How long does it take to receive a shipment?

Nexus Pacific’s quotation specifies lead-time for each project, which includes estimated ocean freight transportation and U.S. Customs clearing. Constant coordination between our domestic and overseas facilities ensures that all orders are shipped on-schedule from the sources. Actual production time varies based on the processes, complexity, and quantity.


Are other import-related fees charged?

No. There are no hidden costs or import charges when you work with Nexus Pacific. We handle any applicable handling costs relating to shipment routing, shipment insurance and custom tariffs. All final pricing is listed in our quotation.


How are duties determined and paid?

Customs tariff is determined by the U.S. government. Nexus Pacific pays the duties for all shipments.

TERMS & PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?

Nexus Pacific accepts company checks, EDI or wire transfers.


Are there any added handling costs?

No. Since Nexus Pacific provides shipments FOB California, added administrative charges for special procedures, shipment documentation and customs paperwork are avoided.


What are the standard terms of payment?

Net 30 days, with credit references and credit approval.
